Project Details:

CM were the Project Manager on this restoration and refurbishment of a Grade I listed building with the upgrade and refurbishment of a 2000 seat auditorium and art deco interior.

The creation of new foyer bars and back of house facilities including dressing rooms and VIP areas. The requirements for major structural engineering works, including the creation of a new basement area under the auditorium to provide a flat floor, within a Grade I listed nationally important venue and providing state of the art technical installations with delicate restoration works asked the most challenging questions. This was resolved with day to day programming and management controls.

The Dome was built in 1804 and originally used as a stable and riding school. The Dome forms part of the Royal Pavilion Estate, we were also involved with other buildings within the Estate including Corn Exchange and Brighton Museum & Art Gallery.
